Who We Are and How to Contact Us

This Privacy Policy explains how Ken Collins Marketing, owned by Ken Collins, collects, uses, and shares personal information through kencollinsmarketing.com, inquiries, bookings, and purchases made through this website.

For privacy questions or requests, email kencollinsmarketing@gmail.com, call (505) 947-0422, or write to Ken Collins Marketing, PO Box 3521, Farmington, NM 87499.

Information We Collect

  • Inquiries and bookings: Your name, email address, phone number, business details, appointment selections, messages, and information you choose to provide in forms, scheduling tools, or correspondence.
  • Accounts, orders, and subscriptions: Contact and billing details, account credentials in protected form, products or services purchased, subscription status and renewal dates, order history, payment status, and related support communications. We collect a shipping address when relevant to an order.
  • Payment information: Our payment provider processes payment credentials. Our store can receive transaction identifiers, payment-method tokens, payment status, and limited payment-method information, such as the card brand and last four digits. Please do not send full card details or passwords through contact forms or email.
  • Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, pages and products viewed, referring pages or advertising campaigns, approximate location, interactions, timestamps, and cookie or similar identifiers. This information can be personal information even when it does not directly display your name.
  • Comments, reviews, and uploads: If you submit these, we receive the content and associated details. Comments may also include an IP address and browser information for spam prevention. Published comments and reviews can be visible to other visitors.

How We Use Information

We use information to respond to inquiries, arrange consultations, provide purchased services and support, maintain accounts, process orders and authorized subscription renewals, send account and service notices, handle refunds or disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, secure the website, meet accounting and legal obligations, and understand and improve our website and advertising.

Marketing messages are separate from essential order, billing, and service communications. You can ask us to stop marketing emails by using an unsubscribe link when provided or contacting us. This does not stop necessary messages about an active purchase, account, or subscription.

Payments and Recurring Subscriptions

The store uses WooCommerce and WooCommerce Subscriptions. Stripe is currently enabled to process online payments. Information necessary for payment processing and fraud prevention, including transaction amounts, billing information, and technical information, is shared with Stripe. Payment credentials are processed by Stripe; our WordPress store does not store your full card number or card security code.

For recurring services, the store retains subscription and payment-token references needed to manage billing, renewals, and support. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically erase past orders or records needed for accounting, disputes, or legal obligations. Review Stripe’s Privacy Policy for its processing practices.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

Cookies and similar technologies support shopping carts, checkout, account sign-in, preferences, security, analytics, and advertising measurement. Some last only for a browsing session; others remain until they expire or you delete them. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in, cart, or checkout features from working properly.

Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and interactions. Google may collect device and browser information, page activity, referring sources, approximate location, and online identifiers. Reports do not generally identify visitors by name, but the underlying information is not necessarily anonymous.

Google Ads: Google advertising tags are present on the site to support advertising measurement. They may send page visits, online identifiers, and technical information to Google and read or set cookies. Depending on Google’s settings and your preferences, Google may use information for advertising personalization as described in its policies. Advertising-related disclosures of identifiers and browsing activity may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws.

Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can manage advertising personalization in Google My Ad Center and use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on in supported browsers. These controls have different scopes; changing advertising preferences does not necessarily stop analytics or all data collection.

The Meta/Facebook Pixel and ManyChat Messenger bot previously used on this website have been removed. Ordinary links to social networks remain; visiting those networks is subject to their own privacy practices.

Scheduling, Reviews, and Other Embedded Services

Calendly: The consultation calendar uses Calendly. Loading or using the calendar can share technical information with Calendly. When booking, you provide your contact details, appointment information, and answers to booking questions so the appointment can be arranged. See Calendly’s Privacy Notice.

Trustindex: We use Trustindex to display reviews from external platforms, including Google and Facebook. Review content, reviewer display names, and profile images may be shown publicly. Loading the widget can connect your browser to Trustindex or related content providers, which receive technical information needed to deliver the content. See Trustindex’s Privacy Policy. Removing a review from this website does not remove it from its original platform.

Other pages may contain third-party videos or embedded content. Those providers may receive your IP address, browser details, and interactions, use cookies, or associate activity with an account you hold with them. An ordinary external link sends you to a separate website when clicked; embedded content can connect to a provider while our page is loading.

Comments, Profile Images, and Uploaded Media

If comments are available and you leave one, the submitted information and technical details may be used to detect spam. An email-address hash may be sent to Gravatar to obtain a profile image; see Automattic’s Privacy Policy. Approved comments and associated profile images may be public. If you choose to save comment details in your browser, convenience cookies may remember them.

If you upload images, avoid including sensitive information or embedded location metadata. Images made publicly accessible can be downloaded, and embedded metadata may be recoverable by other visitors.

Who Receives Information

Authorized administrators and store managers can access information needed to operate the website, fulfill orders, and support customers. Hosting, email delivery, website maintenance, security and spam-prevention providers may process information for those functions. Stripe, Google, Calendly, and Trustindex receive information as described above. Some providers also act independently under their own privacy policies.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law or valid legal process, to address fraud or security incidents, to protect legal rights, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable protections. Information you choose to publish in a review or comment is available to others.

How Long Information Is Kept

Retention depends on the information and its purpose. Account and subscription information is retained to operate accounts and ongoing services. Order, transaction, and billing records may be kept after services end for accounting, tax, dispute-resolution, and legal purposes. Inquiries and service correspondence are kept as needed to respond and maintain the business relationship. Comments and their metadata may remain until removed. Security logs, backups, and third-party service records have their own retention cycles.

You may request deletion as described below. Some information must be retained to fulfill active services or legal obligations. Deleted information may remain in protected backups until those backups are replaced through their normal cycle.

Your Choices and Privacy Requests

You can manage cookies through your browser, use the Google controls linked above, update available account details through your customer account, and contact us about marketing preferences or personal information.

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of personal information, correct it, request deletion, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or opt out of certain advertising uses or disclosures. To make a request, email kencollinsmarketing@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request,” or use the contact details above. Describe your request and the email address associated with your interaction. We may need to verify your identity or an authorized representative’s authority before acting. Do not send identification documents unless we specifically request an appropriate verification method.

We will assess requests under applicable law, explain any relevant limitations, and respond within applicable time limits. If an applicable law provides an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to our response and stating that you are appealing a privacy decision. You may also contact the relevant privacy regulator. Exercising applicable privacy rights will not result in unlawful discrimination.

This website uses HTTPS and security tools. Access to customer information is limited by account permissions, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use a strong, unique account password.
